El agente fiscal Armín Echeguren, de la Unidad Penal N° 2 de Villa Hayes, formuló imputación contra Guido Rolando Espinoza Giménez, Fernando Manuel Evers Maidana, Walter Ramón Díaz Díaz, Cayo José Arias Ortiz, Miguel Adrián Bogarín Rodas, Silvio René Paiva Olmedo, David Emanuel Duarte Samaniego y Aldo David Millán Arce, por la supuesta comisión del hecho punible de Violación de la Ley 716/96, que sanciona el incumplimiento de la cuarentena sanitaria.
Los antecedentes indican que el 21 de marzo de 2020, a las 20:00 aproximadamente, los ahora imputados se encontraban reunidos en la vía pública realizando actividades fuera de las exceptuadas por el Decreto presidencial N° 3478/20, de acciones sanitarias para la mitigación del contagio del virus Covid-19.
Por esta razón, fueron aprehendidos por efectivos de la Policía Nacional y puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público. En la fecha, se presentaron a brindar declaración indagatoria y luego tras constatarse que no se encontraban en el marco de las excepciones y urgencias, el fiscal interviniente decidió imputarlos como ya se mencionó.
