El Consorcio Unión, compuesto por las empresas nacionales CDD Construcciones S.A. y Constructora Heisecke S.A., cuyos representantes son el Ing. César Delgado y el Ing. José Luis Heisecke, llevan a cabo los trabajos del Puente Héroes del Chaco, un proyecto emblemático impulsado por el Gobierno Nacional a través del Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC), el cual posee a la fecha un avance del 66%, se estima su habilitación para el primer semestre del 2023.
Según informes, hace semanas se confeccionó la viga prensada número 590 para dicho puente. La estructura tiene aproximadamente 27 metros de longitud con un peso individual de 40 toneladas.
Situándonos por el lado del Chaco se agregaron 480 vigas, y por otra parte en la Costanera Norte las 110 restantes, incluyendo de esa manera 2 kilómetros en ambas orillas del río Paraguay.
Hay que destacar que más de 600 paraguayos están colaborando desde el inicio de la pandemia en la concreción de esta obra que permitirá el paso de 10.000 vehículos diarios, y cuyo plan de trabajo es de 36 meses.
La edificación de este puente atirantado pretende fortalecer la integración con países vecinos, como Argentina y, a través de la ruta Transchaco y el Corredor Bioceánico, con las demás naciones. Tendrá 600 metros; contará con 4 carriles, bicisenda y vereda peatonal, lo que completará 28 metros de ancho y será el único con estas comodidades. La inversión destinada es de G. 902.000 millones.
