La superintendencia de la Salud confirmó que inició una investigación de oficio contra el médico cirujano, Carlos Alfieri Nisenbaum, tras las reiteradas denuncias sobre mala praxis. El profesional ya no forma parte de la Sociedad Paraguaya de Cirugía Plástica ni tampoco de Operación Sonrisa.
Luego de darse a conocer públicamente, varias denuncias, con contundentes fotografías como prueba, contra dicho profesional, el doctor Ignacio Mendoza, superintendente de Salud aclaró que se encuentra investigando el caso, a pesar de que no les corresponde porque no es institucional.
Por otra parte, la Sociedad Paraguaya de Cirugía Plástica difundió datos actualizados de los miembros titulares y aspirantes a gremio, aclarando que Alfieri Nisenbaum ya no figura en el listado. En cambio, la organización “Operación Sonrisa” emitió un comunicado donde afirmó que el doctor en cuestión renunció a la organización que lleva adelante miles de cirugías a niños de todo el país.
El primer caso se dio a conocer en una red social, donde Lorena Delgado difundió imágenes y conversaciones, que demuestran innegables secuelas de cirugías plásticas. La afectada alegó que cuenta con otras pruebas de negligencia, prepotencia, estafa y maltrato psicológico por parte del especialista.
